During Open Monument Day 2026, the vast majority of the ground floor of the Kazerne complex will be open to the public free of charge. Explore the living rooms of the former military police barracks, the leafy courtyard, the passageway where the monumental roof structure is visible, and the former municipal cleaning depot, which houses a design exhibition featuring projects nominated for the Kazerne Design Award 2026. Spread across several rooms, ten young designers, all recent graduates of Design Academy Eindhoven, will showcase their graduation projects, ranging from practical innovations to philosophical reflections. Discover how the past, present, and future converge at Kazerne.
